I was referred to the Advanced Vascular Institute and Dr Farag, from my pain clinic for a Genicular Artery Embolization procedure. From my first visit, I was very impressed with his entire staff, as well as meeting Dr Farag. Everyone was very knowledgeable and caring, and explained everything in terms that were very easy to understand and put me very much at ease. After the few preliminary visits, it was time for the procedure. Every step of the way was explained thoroughly, and during the procedure his staff were by my side and explained what was happening from start to finish. It was a relief to have the entire staff putting me completely at ease. It's very refreshing to have such a high level of caring staff all working to improve your quality of life. Now that this initial procedure is over, I'm looking forward to additional care with this team of wonderful, caring individuals, they are all awesome!

A month and a half ago I was referred to Doctor Ahmed Farag’s office for a PAE prosthetic arterial embolism. Doctor Farag noticed that there was a problem on a CT scan that I had done the year before, due to his attention to detail he noted that I had a severe blockage of my descending aorta into my right leg, he quickly scheduled a procedure to put in a stent to return the blood flow to my right leg. What surprised me more than anything else was the fact that I was sent to his office for a different procedure and he noticed this problem on my CT scan, his attention to detail returned me back to normal walking function for which the last six years I've been having severe pain every time I walked in my right rear hip. His attention to detail has returned me back to normal activity I can now walk as far as I'd like. I owed doctor Farag a tremendous thanks for his attention to detail and quick action.
